IMAM MAHDI - The Awaited One


Name: Mohammad(as)
Title: Al-Mehdi Al-Sahib Al-Zamaan Al-Hujjah Al-Muntathar
Kunyat: Abu Qassim
Born: On Friday, 15th of Shaban, 225 AH, in Samarra, northern Iraq
Father: The Eleventh Imam Hassan Al-Askari(as)
Mother: Nargis Khatoon (lady)
f death: Unknow as he is still living and waiting God's Divine Order to make himself known to the world and fight injustice and instigate justice, law and order for all mankind!

He was born on the 15th Shaban 255 A.H. in the city of Samarra. He's is descendant from the Prophet Mouhamad's(p.b.u.h)of the line of Syeda Fatimah (a.s). He's the son of the 11th Imam

Imam Hassan Askari (a.s)

Muslims believe that the Mahdi is the 12th Imam(a.s) Al- Mahdi the Twelfth and last Imam, who was born in 868 AD and was hidden by God at the age of five. He is still alive but has been in occultation, awaiting the time that god has decreed for his return."


Saying of the Phrophet (p.b.u.h.)

• "If there were to remain in the life of the world but one day, God would prolong that day until He sends in it a man from my community and my Household.


• His name will be the same as my name.
  He will fill the earth with Equity and Justice as it was filled with oppression and tyranny."

Imam Mahdi "The Guided One"

His Features

• He will be tall
  He will be fair complexioned
  His facial features will be similar to those of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
  His character will be exactly like that of Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam)
  His father's name will be Abdullah
  His mother's name will be Aamina
  He will speak with a slight stutter and occasionally this stutter will frustrate him causing him to hit his hand upon his thigh.
  His age at the time of his emergence will be forty years
  He will receive Knowledge from Allah

** So it's our duty to get ready before he comes. We need to atleast try!!!

~ Imam Mahdi and the Signs that Will Precede Him~

1.The dark of night will not be deemed necessary for the commitment of sins.

2.Extravagant mansions will be constructed.

3.Singers will be considered respectable.

4.War shall be prevalent .

5.Gambling will be prevalent.

6.People will fear living in their own houses.

7.Dajjal shall come and shall have one eye

8.Land shall be turned into deserts

9.Earthquakes and Volcano's and other natural disasters shall be common.

10.Good deeds will be few and far between.

11.False guides will mislead the multitudes.

12.Posts will be many, but practical teachers a few.

13.Mosques will be decorated profusely but urge towards adoration will be absent.

14.The rate of accidental deaths will be on the rise.

15.The rich will become godless and the devout will become sinful.

16.Leaders of opinion will be corrupt and overbearing.

17.False witnesses will be accepted and true ones rejected

18. The Quran will be considered as an old ancient book

19.A person spending money on sinful purposes will not be criticised.

20.People will thrust their personal opinions in the religion.

21.Usury (Interest) will be considered lawful.

22.The virtuous will be despised for their faith in God.

23.Human beings will be followers of selfish desires.

24.Pride will be taken for oppressive tendencies.

25.Good people will observe silence due to fear of wicked persons foul speech.

26.Tale bearing and backbiting will be considered as good and will be prevalent.

27.A wealthy person will command more respect then a pious person.

28.Children will curse their parents and will pray for their early death.

29.Payments will be taken for rendering religious services in Mosques.

30.There will be two eclipses in the Month of Ramadhan

31.Recitaton of the Holy Quran will be considered as a burden

32.Homosexuality will be prevalent

33.The land will crumble and sink thrice in the East, the west and Arabian peninsula

34. GENOCIDE A man from Abu Sufyaan’s progeny massacres descendents of Nabi (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) and rules over Syria and Egypt.

35 WAR - major war between Muslims and Christians: Half the Christian army will sign a peace treaty with the Muslim army, while the second half of the Christian army remains the common enemy.

36. ISTANBUL CONQUERED BY CHRISTIANS The enemy half of the Christian army conquers Constantinople (Istanbul), Turkey.

37. ISTANBUL RECONQUERED JOINTLY BY MUSLIM AND CHRISTIANS The Muslims and the good half of the Christian army conquer Constantinople together, against the enemy Christians. Thereafter, a Christian will say the victory was due to the cross, and the Muslim will say it was due to Islam. A battle between both sides will ensue, and the Muslim Ruler will be martyred.

38. SYRIA CONQUERED BY CHRISTIANS The two Christian armies reunite, conquering Syria.

39.CHRISTIAN DOMINATION Christians dominate the world up to Khaiber (near Madinah), and they will pursue Muslims with 80 flags, with 12,000 men under each flag.

38. MUSLIMS AWAIT IMAM MAHDI

39. TOTAL ECLIPSE A total eclipse of the sun and moon will occur in Ramadhan, prior to Imam Mahdi’s emergence.

40. IMAM MAHDI EMERGES At age 40, Imam Mahdi appears in Makkah, then flees to Madinah.
